Can I walk in and purchase things?

Is there a minimum number to order?
For cupcakes, we do not have a minimum order for flavors baked the day of pick-up. If you want a flavor that we are not baking that day, the minimum order is 12 for standard size and 24 for minis. For all other custom orders, the minimum is 12 per flavor. 

How far in advance do I need to place an order?
It depends on the type of dessert you are looking to order. For cupcakes, we can typically take an order the day prior to pick-up. We do ask that you give us a few days notice for larger orders. For custom designed orders including cakes, decorated sugar cookies, and cake pops, we need at least one week (7 days) notice, although we recommend placing your order two weeks prior. Some weekends do book in full so we cannot guarantee availability until your order is placed. There are some exceptions to these rules so it is always a good idea to give us a call and see if we can help. 

Do you require a deposit?
For wedding orders, we require a 30% deposit with the remaining balance due three weeks prior to delivery. For non-wedding orders, we require a 50% deposit with the remaining balance due at pick-up. For deliveries, any remaining balance must be paid prior to delivery. 

What form of payment do you take?
We accept cash, check, visa, mastercard, american express, and discover. 

Do you make gluten-free? Vegan? Sugar-free? What about food-allergies?
We offer almost every product gluten-free, with a few exceptions, as well as some products that are naturally gluten-free (like most of our French macarons, and coconut macaroons). As for vegan, we currently have chocolate and vanilla bean cake recipes, as well as vanilla bean and chocolate fudge frostings. Many of our mini pies can be made with vegan-friendly ingredients. We do not currently offer anything sugar-free. With all other allergies, please inform us prior to placing your order so we can ensure that no product contains that ingredient. While we take every pre-caution, all products are made on shared equipment so we cannot guarantee that our products are 100% gluten-free (or vegan, etc). Please take caution when orderings. 

Is it macaroon or macaron?
Both! A macaroon is a cookie typically made from egg whites, sugar, vanilla extract and shredded coconut. A French macaron is a cookie sandwich made from egg whites, granulated sugar, powdered sugar, and almond flour and filled with either buttercream or ganache. There is a slight difference in pronunciation, but we are more than happy to clarify what you are looking for. 

Do you offer tastings?
We do! Our tastings are $20 and that gets applied toward your deposit when you decide to book with us. Tastings are for weddings and other large events with a minimum order of $400. For smaller events, you may set up a time to meet with us; any items you would like to sample would need to be purchased. 

Do you deliver?
Yes! Deliveries are included in pricing for tiered wedding cakes and dessert table packages. All other deliveries are priced based on the type of dessert delivered and the distance. We have travelled as far north as San Luis Obispo and as far south as Marina Del Rey. Please contact us at least one week prior regarding delivery as our delivery schedule can book quickly.
