Construction Progress Numero Dos

This update is LONG overdue and I apologize for that. Mom and I have been running around getting all of the last minute details for the new shop. Our last blog post said we were hoping to be open sometime this week, but clearly that isn't the case. We had a major plumbing crisis, something that we weren't anticipating of course. Old pipes required replacement and we needed to add new connections for all of our sinks and customer bathroom. We even had to repair some leaks in the roof, something we discovered with our last round of heavy rain! With all of these set-backs, things are finally moving along. Our exhaust hood and fire suppression system starting going up last week and we began laying tile early this week. Next week we will be moving our equipment and finalizing all of the little details. Pending approval from Building & Safety and Environmental Health, we are anticipating being open May 5 and our big Grand Opening Celebration on May 14. We thank everyone who has been a part of this process and for all of your patience. We can't wait to be open again to see all of our wonderful customers!

Big thanks to all of our construction crew, especially my brother-in-law Eddie who has been spear heading the construction and dealing with our constant question "when can we open?"
